This privacy policy explains how Tick handles information when you use the app on your Android device.
Data stored on your device
All tasks, routines, and settings you create in Tick are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is not synced to any server. No account or login is required to use the app.
Data collected automatically
Tick uses the following third-party services that collect data automatically when you use the app.
Firebase Analytics
Used to understand how the app is used in aggregate. It collects device information (model, Android version), app version, and anonymous in-app events such as a task created or a setting changed. This data cannot be used to identify you personally and is used solely to improve the app.
Firebase Crashlytics
Used to receive reports when the app crashes. It collects device information, app version, and a description of what the app was doing at the time of the crash. Crash reports do not contain your tasks, notes, or any content you have entered.
Firebase Firestore — Discover tab only
The Discover tab loads a read-only list of routine templates from a server. Your device fetches this list when you open the tab. No personal data is written to the server as part of this feature.

The Settings screen includes an optional feedback form. If you choose to submit feedback, the following is sent to our server:
